Rich took me from no car driving experience at all to test ready in two months, with an average of just over one 2 hour lesson per week.

Rich had a clear and effective strategy to develop my driving. Every lesson, I felt I was being appropriately challenged outside my comfort zone. And every lesson, I felt I made substantial progress.

Rich always remained calm and understanding in our lessons. I felt totally comfortable thinking aloud, and felt that no question was too basic to ask. I was especially impressed by how insightful Rich was. Whenever something went wrong, Rich was able to fully talk me through what had happened and what I needed to adjust. He constantly provided great driving tips, ranging from control of my own vehicle to how my actions affected the perceptions of other road users.”

Rich was really friendly, easy to get along and a great laugh which made the whole process much more enjoyable. He is super reliable and excellent teacher with great knowledge, staying patient and calm throughout lessons, which is what you need in an instructor when learning to drive. The lessons are planned and tailored to ensure you feel comfortable and confident on the roads whilst staying safe, with any weakness you may have being worked on in good time. I passed first time with Rich and so did my brother! I honestly don’t think you could find a better instructor out there!

“My instructor was Richard Langley and I can say that he is absolutely the best driving instructor that I’ve had.

If you are serious about being a good driver and not just passing your test, want structure and genuine thought into your learning process and someone who will pinpoint your weaknesses and help you get past them, go with Rich.

The lessons are two hours when I was doing them, and the test itself will seem remarkably easy in comparison to Rich putting you through your paces. Highly recommended and good choice if you are brand new to driving or you are swapping instructors and just need someone to iron out your weaknesses.

Lastly, I’ll say that Rich made himself available to help me pass on a day that he’d normally have off – the man genuinely cares about his students. Can’t ask for more from a teacher.”

“I was very nervous to start driving and being in the car with a stranger but Rich is patient and funny and really puts worries at ease. He was incredible with me when I would ask blunt or silly questions, always able to talk through things when I didn’t understand. And made time for me months later when I booked a second test and then passed!! 100% recommend him!”
